Q: Why does somebody keep paging me and entering my pager number?

A: Where a person leaves you a "Voice Mail" message, your pager alerts you by showing your pager number. This lets you know the difference between a Voice Mail message and a numeric page.

Q: My pager keeps missing pages, why would this happen?

A: There are several reasons for this:

Where are you when it's missing pages?
Is your battery good?
Is it the same caller? Are they using a touch-tone phone?
Are you in a metal building? Are you in the basement? In an elevator?
Once these are all answered, if the pager is still missing pages it probably needs repair.

Q: How could Voice Mail benefit me?

A: We like to think of Voice Mail as a "back-up" system, since it is attached to your phone number and not the equipment. If you are going to be out of paging range, change your greeting so that your callers know to leave only voice messages for that time. It's great message security!

Q: I can't access my personal greeting -it just keeps beeping. Whats wrong?

A: If someone hung up while trying to record a page and left no time on the greeting it is almost impossible to hit 0 and get back in. The pager needs to be reset with programming to allow more time.
